The Curly Hair would have fit in nicely with the 80s big hair scene. It's long, curly setae "hairs" give this species a very unique appearance, unlike any other tarantula. We not only love this spiders sense of style, it's also known for being docile (yet skittish), long-lived and quite hardy. For good reason they are one of our most requested and popular beginner tarantulas. It's unlike any other tarantula, you have to see it for yourself!
They typically grow their first curly hairs starting about 1 1/4-2” Leg-span.
Recommended enclosure: A 2.25 x 2.25 x 4.5” Tarantula Enclosure - Terrestrial Kit
Currently feeding on:Pinhead B. lateralis.
