The Mexican Red Knee is the “Hobby Classic Tarantula” and also Jamie’s Logo inspiration! This tarantula is adored by beginners and experienced keepers alike. Known for being large, colorful and docile (yet skittish) this scrub-land/desert tarantula is extremely hardy. A long-lived species the females are known to sometimes live in excess of 30 years. 

Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6" Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole.
