Here is your chance to get a stunning, captive-bred female! B. albiceps is also known as the Mexican Golden Red-Rump. This uncommon species is much sought after by novice and experienced collectors alike. With velvet black legs, a bright gold carapace and fiery red hairs on the abdomen they are a sight to behold! Their personality is just the icing on the cake. B. albiceps is very hardy and a long-lived species. Females can live upwards of 30 years.
Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6" Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole. Either would make a great enclosure for this specimen until it’s large enough for a 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit.
