This uncommon species is much sought after by novice and experienced collectors alike. With velvet black legs, a bright gold carapace and fiery red hairs on the abdomen they are a sight to behold! Their personality is just the icing on the cake. B. albiceps is very hardy and a long-lived species. Females can live upwards of 30 years. 

Recommended enclosure: A 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit could make a great permeant enclosure for this tarantula.
