Aphonopelma seemanni is also known as the Costa Rican stripe knee or Costa Rican zebra tarantula. This species is very hardy and can make a good beginner Tarantula due to its ease of care.
Although this female may show some blue fresh from a molt, I would consider her a "regular" color form.
Recommended enclosure: A 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit could make a great permeant enclosure for this tarantula.
Currently feeding on: Large B. lateralis.
