Avicularia metallica is also known as the Metallic pink-toe tarantula. This docile yet skittish arboreal starts off as a cream colored spiderling and develops into a blue adult with a metallic sheen and pink toes. Specimens over 2" can make a good beginner tarantula for attentive keepers. Keep in mind Avicularia can be speedy and do require frequent to semi-frequent misting.
Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x8” Arboreal Kit - Classic Porthole is ideal for this tarantula! Once large enough a 7x7x11” Fossorial / Arboreal Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14” Fossorial / Arboreal Enclosure Kit.
Currently feeding on: Large B. lateralis.

I love how everything came so quick, the minute it was shipped, it came within the two days just like it was said on the website for live orders!(it took a week, which is awesome since it takes time to prepare for shipment) I’ve been wanting a tarantula for years, and I finally decided to get one.
